ARMED FORCES COVENANT

At Churches Fire & Security, we work with an employment agency to ensure we fill vacancies with the best talent available. This applies to office-based roles, management positions and technicians from in, and out, of the industry.

Dynamite Recruitment find us the most suitable candidates through their selection process. This is based not only on any fire and security experience, but also the candidates’ commitment to safety standards, maintaining a trusted business for our customers and personability.

As part of this recruitment partnership, we are working with The Armed Forces Covenant – an agreement between organisations to acknowledge and assist those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families. The Covenant is a nationwide partnership between the government, businesses, charities and members of the public.

A promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly.

By signing the Covenant as a business, and with our recruitment agency, Churches Fire & Security demonstrate this commitment in several ways:

  • Offering a guaranteed interview of employment to members of the Armed Forces or veterans who meet the criteria of the role requirements. We also take into consideration the numerous transferrable skills gained by personnel, and give consideration to their fit in our business.
  • Providing access to our wellbeing service to assist in any needs of those joining our team.
  • Advertising all suitable vacancies for service leavers and veterans on the Ministry of Defence’s Careers Transition Partnership website.

PRINCIPLES OF THE COVENANT

At Churches Fire & Security we will endeavour to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant. This states that members of this community should not face disadvantages of any kind, arising from their service career in the provision of public and commercial services. In some circumstances special provisions may be justified, especially for those who have been injured or bereaved, and we are proud to stand by these commitments.

We are committed to the Covenant, offering support and offers of training and employment to service people throughout our business.
