Loss Prevention Standards (LPS) and certifications
Churches Fire & Security are accredited in a number of Loss Prevention Standards across different types of fire safety products and services. The Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) has worked alongside government for over 100 years, defining standards for the safe performance of fire safety products; the LPCB are accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). These certifications are widely recognised and ensures that our knowledge and training meets industry approved government standards.
Churches Fire & Security appear in the LPCB RedBook Live, a list of all certificated products, services and companies, for accreditations ISO 9001:2015 and LPS 1048.
Churches Fire & Security is certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 – this is the International Standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS) and is awarded through the LPCB.

As a company designing, installing and maintaining sprinkler systems, our work must meet the standards set out by LPS 1048, audited by LPCB, of which Churches Fire & Security has Level Three accreditation. This means that all of our sprinklers meet the highest quality, third party-assured standards. All of our servicing is audited to ISO 9001, so you can be sure that our processes are standardised and industry standard.
Churches Fire & Security is registered to the BAFE SP101 scheme. This ensures that all our technicians to source, commission, site and service fire extinguishers. They are fully trained to work to the safest and highest standards within the industry. This means you can expect the highest quality of fire extinguisher services, certified to third party standards.
Churches Fire & Security is accredited in a number of certifications with the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), the UK’s most highly trusted and respected, independent, UKAS-accredited certification body in the security and fire safety sector.

FIA – Fire Industry Association
The Fire Industry Association is a not-for-profit organisation, the largest fire protection trade association in the UK and a major provider of fire safety training. One of our senior fire safety team sits on the association’s Fire Risk Assessment Council. The British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association is the UK’s leading professional trade association for the fire sprinkler industry. BAFSA is committed to ensuring sprinkler systems are installed to the highest standards. They promote the use of sprinkler systems by providing information about their benefits, working closely with authorities such as government, fire and rescue services and town planners.
Over 85% of all sprinkler systems in the UK are installed by BAFSA members and we are proud to be one of them. This means that we have access to the best technical advisors and the latest training.
