A PARTNERSHIP WITH A SCHOOL BASED IN A LISTED BUILDING PRESENTED SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS TO UPDATE THE ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM

Access Control Installation

Churches Fire & Security works in partnership with a school in Surrey, based out of a Grade 1 Listed Building.

With over 900 students, some of whom are residential, the site required an access control system and improved infrastructure to better serve the needs of the school, to improve security and safety all round.

School Access Control Systems

The school joined Churches Fire as a result of an acquisition and the trusted partnership has continued to grow. Our highly trained technicians and account managers have consistently maintained fire and security services at the school in accordance with the latest British Standards.

With the requirement of a sophisticated access control system, our projects department proposed the installation of an upgrade of the existing site and building and entry system to replace the outdated building management system.

Working alongside a leading security solutions provider, the chosen system that is integrated CCTV allows the school to seamlessly manage the building access and security of the premises through a secured monitoring room, with two dedicated operators on-site managing the system day-to-day.

Extra care and attention were required due to the age and condition of the listed building. The customer was extremely pleased with the high-quality installation being carried out by conscientious and experienced technicians.
