Care is the number one priority

We understand that your job is caring for all of your patients’ needs; this doesn’t always leave a lot of time to care for your own safety. At Churches Fire & Security we care about our customer’s safety and as fire experts we will ensure that your premises are a safe environment for everyone. Fire Risk Assessments are a legal requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005; this responsibility usually lies with the employer or business owner. We can help you fulfil your obligations and keep you fully compliant with all legislation.

A fire risk assessment can be carried out by anyone however as a vital part of any organisation’s fire safety plan, it is of paramount importance that the fire risk assessment is completed by someone with the correct expertise. Most Fire and Rescue services recommend selecting a fire risk assessor registered with a fire industry professional body.

We can provide you with a fully qualified and highly experienced fire risk assessor – all of our assessors are members of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) or the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE). This means that you can have peace of mind that your care home and its patients are in safe hands.

Once the fire risk assessment has been completed, a detailed report will be sent to you containing a written assessment of observations, recommendations and an action plan. It is essential that you keep the assessment under review and revise it when necessary.

Our technicians carry a wide range of equipment to recertify any non-compliances or faults to ensure equipment is maintained in efficient working order without the need for further visits. We can ensure that you fulfil all of your obligations and remain fully compliant with all fire safety legislation.

If you would like to discuss fire safety further, we are going to be exhibiting at The Care Show 2018 on the 17th and 18th of October. The event will take place in Birmingham NEC and the doors will open at 10 am.
