Throughout March, our teams have been out in their local communities doing their part to create cleaner, greener spaces as part of our nationwide effort supporting the Great British Spring Clean.
The Great British Spring Clean is organised by Keep Britain Tidy, a leading independent environmental charity that works to inspire, educate and enable people to value and protect the environment on their doorstep so everyone can love where they live.

With a stretch of sunny weather on our side, it made the experience even more rewarding to be outdoors, working together and making a visible difference in the areas we live and work in. From parks and streets to shared public spaces, our teams showed incredible enthusiasm and commitment to improving their surroundings. Whilst some of the team took part in their local areas during working hours, some of the team took part in the initiative by attending their local organised Great British Spring Clean.

We’re proud of the collective impact this initiative has had. Over the two-week period, our teams gathered and disposed of more than 150 bags of litter. A fantastic achievement that highlights what can be accomplished when people come together with a shared purpose.
In addition to our clean-up efforts, we were pleased to support a charitable cause with a £1,000 donation. For team members who were unable to take part in the litter-picking activities, we offered the opportunity to nominate a charity close to their hearts.
We’re delighted to share that the chosen charity is The Azaylia Foundation. This charity was created to fight childhood cancer. For under 15 year olds, there are 5 new cases diagnosed every day and 4 deaths a week, yet childhood cancer received less than 3% of cancer funding. Find out more about The Azaylia Foundation here.
This initiative has been a meaningful way for us to give back, both through hands-on action in our communities and by supporting a worthy cause. We look forward to building on this momentum and taking part in future initiatives that continue to make a positive difference.
Whilst the official Great British Spring Clean has now finished, this is a yearly initiative set up by the organisation Keep Britain Tidy. To find out more about the Great British Spring Clean or to get involved in the next event here.
