A Great Turnout for Our Churches Group Macmillan Coffee Morning 2026

On Friday 25^th September we came together across the business to host our very own Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support while enjoying some well-deserved time together as a team. The event was a fantastic success, with a great turnout from staff across the business. From homemade bakes and sweet treats to plenty of tea, coffee and good conversation, there was a brilliant atmosphere throughout the morning.

Our teams really got behind the event, with colleagues bringing in an impressive selection of cakes and treats to share. We even held our own bake-off competition, giving everyone the chance to show off their baking skills and making choosing a winner no easy task!

Most importantly, the event gave us the opportunity to come together as a business and support a charity that provides vital support to people living with cancer and their families.

Raising Money for Macmillan

Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of colleagues across the business, we raised an incredible £2,224 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated, entered the competition, helped organise the event or simply stopped by for a coffee and a cake. Every contribution helped us make a difference. It was brilliant to see such a great turnout and the team spirit shown throughout the event. We’re proud to have played our part in supporting such an important cause and, of course, enjoyed plenty of cake along the way! Thank you to everyone who helped make our Macmillan Coffee Morning such a success.
