FIA Young Technician of the Year 2025 – Winner!
We are incredibly proud to share that one of our academy technicians, Charlie, has won the FIA Young Technician of the Year Award 2025 – a fantastic achievement and well-deserved recognition of his talent, commitment, and hard work.
Charlie joined us in October 2024, bringing valuable industry experience, and was quickly enrolled into our Training Academy to further develop his skills. Our program is designed to fill the skills gap in the fire and security industry by providing structured hands-on learning and classroom sessions for both existing Churches employees and newcomers to the trade. Current employees have successfully transitioned from being full-time fire extinguisher technicians to expanding their knowledge to include the workings of fire and intruder alarm systems.
Since graduating, he has continued to flourish, consistently demonstrating our core values and delivering a professional, customer-focused service every day.
The Fire Industry Association
The Fire Industry Association (FIA) is the UK’s largest fire safety trade association, representing more than 1,200 members across the industry. As a not-for-profit organisation and leading provider of fire safety training, the FIA is dedicated to advancing standards in fire protection and life safety.
Through technical guidance, member representation, education, and support for appropriate regulation, the FIA works to promote and improve fire protection methods, services, equipment, and professional development throughout the sector.
The FIA Young Technician of the Year award is a testament to Charlie’s dedication and growth, and we couldn’t be prouder to see his efforts recognised on a national stage.
