Our Environmental Commitments
Having been in business for over 30 years, we have been working diligently to reduce our environmental impact, with long and short term goals to achieve this. We have developed key initiatives and processes to reduce company waste, support our local communities and develop our employees, including:
Achieved ISO 14001 certification status
Emission monitoring to set meaningful carbon reduction targets
Community support & the sponsorship of good causes regionally via our social champion lead initiatives
Identify and expand recycling pathways
Fleet transitioning to smaller vehicles, route optimisation & driver training
Promotion of virtual meetings to reduce the need for travel
Working towards Net Zero
We are committed to taking immediate action to reduce our annual emissions and achieving Net Zero emissions by April 2045, five years earlier than the UK Government’s target.
We aim to reduce emissions year-on-year to achieve:
reduction in our energy consumption, transport output and electricity usage
offsetting residual emissions to become carbon neutral via high-quality verified offsets
overall reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2045 via nature-based or direct air capture projects
