We will service your fire alarm twice per annum, strictly in accordance with the current BS 5839 in force on the date of this quotation.
The service will include, but not be limited to:
The customer is responsible for providing access to the current fire risk assessment (FRA) and fire strategy documentation, including records of the weekly tests being undertaken on site. The customer will also be required to confirm any existing or planned change of use to the site including structural changes or use of areas which may affect the fire alarm system.
We will service your emergency lighting twice per annum, strictly in accordance with the current BS 5266-1 in force on the date of this quotation.
The technician will check the batteries are working, the expiry of date of the batteries, the correct circuitry, the condition of fitting and test switches and bulbs and ensure that the emergency lighting is located in the correct locations.
We will service your fire-fighting equipment once per annum, strictly in accordance with the current BS 5306-3 in force on the date of this quotation.
The service will ensure that the safety clip and indicating devices haven’t been operated and will check the pressure of the fire extinguisher where applicable.
Our proposal is based on continuity of work. If the technician is prevented from working in a specific area, which results in loss of time and the technician is unable to continue within a different area, we reserve the right to charge for loss of time. The technician will report any issues to the customer’s representative.
The customer will need to be available for final handover of the system and is responsible for ensuring all staff are present for training of use of the system. We are able to return on separate occasions for training needs, however there may be an additional charge for this service.

Unless specifically requested and otherwise confirmed in writing, we have not made allowance for any site specific Health and Safety requirements other than our own reasonable care and attention in carrying out the works.
Existing Equipment and Cables
Churches Fire Security Ltd. does not accept responsibility or any liability for the performance or reliability of equipment, cabling or wiring that has not been approved, supplied or installed by Churches Fire Security Ltd. If the need for additional work arises because additional items of equipment are needed or re-cabling is required then Churches Fire Security Ltd. reserves the right to charge for these over and above this design proposal.
Exclusions
All spares and consumables (unless specifically agreed).
The above pricing is not inclusive of any access equipment (i.e. scaffolding or cherry picker); should this be required we reserve the right to amend our price.
If IP equipment is used, we do not provide any equipment (i.e. PC, laptop, iPad) to view the images.
Caveats
The above pricing is based on the asset information we have been able to gain, should we attend site and the asset differs, we reserve the right to change our pricing.
The above pricing is based on all system visits being completed at the same time and in normal working hours, should individual visits be required we reserve the right to amend our pricing.

This pricing is national pricing and covers 95% of UK postcode locations. We reserve the right to amend the quotation for any non-mainland postcodes.
We reserve the right to alter or withdraw our offer, should any control equipment be found to be of a closed protocol nature that we are unable to service or maintain.
Before acceptance of this quotation, all interested parties (i.e. local fire authority, your insurers, and landlord or building control inspectors) may wish to vet or have input into the scheme. We would recommend that they are consulted, or a copy of our proposal be forwarded to them for general approval, where applicable.
Asbestos
Before any works are undertaken the customer must supply us with any site information relating to the known location of any type of asbestos; this may be by the means of an asbestos register.
Should work cease or a change be required to cables routes due to the discovery of asbestos in the building, unless otherwise instructed prior to work commencing, additional cost may be incurred.
General
Our quote does not include for the lifting of carpets, tiles and ceilings or for the moving of equipment machinery plant or stock. No allowance has been allowed for waiting time for reasons beyond our control.
All equipment and parts supplied remain the property of Churches Fire Security Ltd., until full payment of the invoice to which they relate is received.
