Fire Blankets

Fire Blankets are ideal for fighting small fires that may occur in the home or the work place, being an essential piece of safety equipment if accessible and used correctly.

With around 30% of house fires starting in the kitchen area, fire blankets are used for smothering deep fat fryers, pans and cooking hobs and waste bins. They are also ideal for covering someone who has actually caught fire, or worn over the head when passing an area that is on fire. They are housed in a slimline container made of rigid plastic, with a hinged base to allow easy removal of the blanket in case of emergencies.

Fire blankets should be made easily accessible near an exit doorway and installed in a prominent position... never hidden away in drawers or cupboards.

All of our fire blankets are Kitemarked to BS EN 1869:1997.
