Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service: Retained Firefighter, Leading Firefighter & Watch Manager (OIC)

• Following training, commenced career at Hythe Fire Station as an Operational Retained Firefighter in Development.
• Served at Hythe, Lyndhurst & Totton Fire Stations.
• At Totton, promoted to Leading Firefighter and then to Sub Officer (Watch Manager) Officer in Charge.
• Managed station of 16 personnel.

1973-2008    
Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service: Whole-Time Firefighter, Leading Firefighter & Watch Manager

• Following training, commenced at Redbridge Fire Station as an Operational Firefighter.
• Promoted to temporary Sub Officer (Watch Manager) then Sub Officer in The Fire Safety Department.
• Became Sub Officer (Watch Manager) at St Mary’s Fire Station.
